Welcome to
Emily The Vampire Slayer, my name is Emily (
surprised?) & this is my personal webspace that is free for me to say as I like in. You don't agree with my ramblings? That's fine, leave. I'm not out to offend or upset anyone but, like most, I'm very opiniated... that can often get in the way of my desire to be friends with everyone I meet because I won't drop my beliefs for anyone.
Why should I? But feel free to take a look around and comment my blogs. Any questions, issues or complaints can be addressed
here.

Today was that fateful day for the typical English teenager... a day on which they scamper into their colleges and sixth forms to collect the all too important A/AS level results. Luckily, this is only year one for me, so that means I only had to anticipate the AS results... but, as if that wasn't enough? I literally felt sick all the night before and in the car leading up to the college. I tried to prepare myself for the worst because I know I've had a pretty shite year of various ups and downs, and I swear I literally thought I was going to get Ds and Es on these exams. I knew I'd failed Maths,
no question, I wasn't even bothered about that because I knew it was a fact and that it mattered very little toward what I needed to achieve anyway; but it was everything else I was worried about. I suppose you could tell as well, I was visibly shaking, my teachers and friends kept asking me if I was alright and I'd say "Uh, not really..." When we got the results, we had to total up the scores ourselves to work out our final subject grades, and it turned out: 2 As, 2 Bs, and a delightful U in Maths. But forget the last one, it's irrelevant, I'm really pleased after everything and all the stress I put myself through. These are enough to get me into really good Universities: argh!
Anyway, I need to stop rambling about exam results and fill everyone in on the dog business. People who visited my site in the last few weeks might have noticed the blog about Alfie who died; well, our house has been like a mausoleum without him, so we did the only sensible thing and got another puppy. His name is Winston because, and I now quote my father: "it's a good, strong, British name".

Churchill, I suppose he means then. I've included a photo. Oh, and I ought to carry on that vulgar tradition of relating my fanlisting updates to anyone who actually bothers to read this crap, so: I have completed my Gossip Girl episode fanlisting for 'Valley Girls', and I've received approvals for Margaret Atwood, Malibu Rum, BBC, Debates/Debating, Andy Hallett and the Chuck Bass physical fanlisting. And I'm waiting to hear about Buffy episode 'Storyteller', Felines and Ed Westwick. I've also updated the wishlist on my fanlisting to a snazzy new style which looks far better than the old version (fancy rollovers :D).
I think I need to say some things about the holiday in Turkey. Family-wise it was bad; we kept falling out and me and my dad ended up refusing to speak to each other... but otherwise, well, I first met a Dutch guy called Glarz and we flirted a bit but it didn't really go anywhere... and then I met Sefa. Sefa is a Turkish photographer and I went out with him a few of the nights down to Bar street, and we had a bit of a, um, not sure what you'd call it, hehe. But, on the whole, I enjoyed the holiday and it's always good to take a break for a while.

When I got back from holiday, I found Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children waiting for me! I couldn't wait to watch it, I've wanted it for ages and it didn't disappoint. I've always been a fan of the Final Fantasy games, VIII is my favourite with Squall and Rinoa but I do love them all, they are such great games.
One last thing. It's 15 mins to 3 in the morning and tonight/last night (however you want to look at it) I went out to celebrate or commiserate exam results with Liz, Becky, Katie, Laura, Dooley, Amy & Amy's boyfriend Stu. We went to a couple of bars in Ackworth and I had such a great time, we played 'I Have Never' & I honestly haven't laughed that much in ages. Me and Amy came back from the toilets at this one point and we both tried to get to our seats at the same time, so we ended up wedged together between the table and seating, wriggling about and laughing... when we got free I said: "Well, that was erotic" and we all had a giggling fit. Also, Laura thought it would be funny to put a tampon in Dooley's drink while he was outside and see how long it took him to notice. Immature I know, but
so funny! The best bit of the night, though, was when we decided to take part in a music quiz and we had to pick a team name. Laura was quick to come up with it: "6 Girls, 2 Guys, 1 Cup". And so it was.
