Welcome to
Emily The Vampire Slayer, my name is Emily (
surprised?) & this is my personal webspace that is free for me to say as I like in. You don't agree with my ramblings? That's fine, leave. I'm not out to offend or upset anyone but, like most, I'm very opiniated... that can often get in the way of my desire to be friends with everyone I meet because I won't drop my beliefs for anyone.
Why should I? But feel free to take a look around and comment my blogs. Any questions, issues or complaints can be addressed
here.

I don't actually have that much to say, life is boring and I can't wait for Summer... that's about it. Well, I had better make something more of it; today is Mother's day and we went to China City for lunch and then afterwards to my Nana's. I really couldn't stand something my Nana said, I knew we were getting into dangerous territory with the direction in which the conversation was going, I knew it was only a matter of time before the all-consuming fury kicked in and I began to fume and release smoke from my ears. She was talking about how in her life she had always done all the cooking and cleaning, every single day without fail. She had basically been at the beck and call of her husband, no wonder my Dad turned out to be a complete arsehole. But anyway, she was implying that she thought it was right and it was her duty... she even called it "my work". When my Mum asked why she thought it to be 'her work' she was silent, but there was this weird untold little thing bouncing off the room's icy atmosphere... truth was, she thought it was 'her work' because she was a woman. That somehow, even when both sexes go out during the day to work, it is the woman's job to cook and clean.
Why? What a ridiculous thought. Especially seeing as one of the reasons men would believe they were in some way superior was because of their greater physical strength. They do have greater physical strength; but how does greater physical strength = entitled to less work? Is anyone seeing the amazing lack of logic. Men want it all ways. They want to be the superior sex because they are stronger, and yet they want to be the useless, lazy sex. Huh? I'd love men's stupidity to be explained even slightly.
Ah, but I do have good news. Good news aplenty on Internet-Junkie terms, I've been approved for loads of amazing fanlistings, even a bunch of Buffy episodes.
