Welcome to Emily The Vampire Slayer, my name is Emily (surprised?) & this is my personal webspace that is free for me to say as I like in. You don't agree with my ramblings? That's fine, leave. I'm not out to offend or upset anyone but, like most, I'm very opiniated... that can often get in the way of my desire to be friends with everyone I meet because I won't drop my beliefs for anyone. Why should I? But feel free to take a look around and comment my blogs. Any questions, issues or complaints can be addressed here.

The title actually represents the subject of the most boring part of this blog, funnily enough. But let's get it over with. Lots of people in my life, including site visitors, know how set I am on studying Politics at University, particularly PPE (Politics, Philosophy and Economics) but there are only certain Universities that offer this course: Oxford, Edinburgh, Warwick, Durham, etc. And, as you can see, these are some of the best Universities in the Country, or even the world. But I have plans. Of course I have to do very well in my exams but I need something apart from this to separate me from the crowd, because I would really love to do PPE at somewhere like Oxford - imagine that! So I'm opening a new website shortly called 'Politiks'. This demonstrates my dedication towards the subject and also shows I can do web-design. Also, I'm going to start attending 'Leeds City Toastmasters' to participate in debates and improve my public speaking and basically just read up as much as I can on the subject. By the time University interviews role round, I want to be able to confidently say that I'm an avid fan of Shakespeare; I am, actually, but I wouldn't feel good if they started asking me loads of questions about my interpretation of certain events - I need to be prepared for this.
Right, enough of that for now. I went to see 'Little Shop Of Horrors' last night and Chade looked gorgeous, even when he was pulling those stupid faces. In fact, I stole a picture from the Catholic Post website showing him pulling one of those faces. Here it is. Everybody was really good in the show, Jake and Copley worked really well together. The only slight downer was the embarrassment I felt at being sat right behind my History teacher... ah well, not everything can go right, can it? On a completely different subject, I've joined The Student Room and my username is blondesemolina, it's pretty good for all kinds of debates and discussions.
