Welcome to Emily The Vampire Slayer, my name is Emily (surprised?) & this is my personal webspace that is free for me to say as I like in. You don't agree with my ramblings? That's fine, leave. I'm not out to offend or upset anyone but, like most, I'm very opiniated... that can often get in the way of my desire to be friends with everyone I meet because I won't drop my beliefs for anyone. Why should I? But feel free to take a look around and comment my blogs. Any questions, issues or complaints can be addressed here.

I admit, I poured through numerous quotes to find a nice little title for my blog. I came up with many possibilities but I settled for this one on love. I don't know why, I'm no romantic, in fact, most of it sickens me a little - it often seems love is a waste of time. But I also hate it when people say so matter-of-factly that love doesn't exist. I'm an unromantic pessimist who likes to make gagging noises during 'I love you more than anyone else in my life' scenes in films, but even I believe in love. I sometimes wish it didn't exist and I don't agree with Alfred Lord Tennyson's poem:
I hold it true, whate'er befall;
I feel it, when I sorrow most;
'Tis better to have loved and lost
Than never to have loved at all.
Because, well, you never miss what you've never had. But I've felt it and I know others have too, love does exist no matter how better off we'd be without it. And also, Shakespeare is a legend so I love that quote.
This week I did my psychology exam and went to college exactly 2.5 days and managed to have an ear infection of some kind along the way, I feel oddly weird... I'm not sure why. Anyway, forget college and weirdness, I finished all of Roswell Season 1 and watched the first two episodes of Season 2 - it's so good!!! Honestly, I'm really enjoying it, I couldn't stop watching it Sunday night even though I had College the next day and I was knackered; and I've also got my Mum watching Season 1 and she can't stop either, I think Maria is hilarious and Max and Michael are hot!
I'm doing that thing again where I feel like I should have loads to say but can't remember what the Hell I wanted to ramble on about, so instead I'm going to compile another list of stuff to get, you know, my kinda/sorta/maybe wishlist. So I can cross them off, but these will probably take longer that the last one because I am completely skint.
