Welcome to
Emily The Vampire Slayer, my name is Emily (
surprised?) & this is my personal webspace that is free for me to say as I like in. You don't agree with my ramblings? That's fine, leave. I'm not out to offend or upset anyone but, like most, I'm very opiniated... that can often get in the way of my desire to be friends with everyone I meet because I won't drop my beliefs for anyone.
Why should I? But feel free to take a look around and comment my blogs. Any questions, issues or complaints can be addressed
here.

Ah, yes, so I am seventeen... how weird? But it's been a good three days, it began on Friday (my actual birthday) when I went to school wearing my rosette 'birthday girl' badge and nearly, but not quite, missed quiz morning - which we won. I got two questions all by myself that only I knew, they were indentifying a picture of Alistair Darling and working out that the male actor surname code 'You put it in trucks' was Vin Diesel. I'd stayed up until 2.00am the night before working on my Othello essay, which I'm actually resonably proud of for a first draft, and I showed off unbelievably when I was asked to go research 'A Streetcar Named Desire' and told them I'd already read it. Heehee. On Friday night we went to Red Dragon, or those in our household did anyway... its gorgeous, if you know me, you'll know of my deep love for Chinese food.
And then yesterday I went with my friends: Flick, Ben, Liz, Steph, Sarah, Dooley, Gareth and Beckie to the cinema, where we saw 'Changeling' which was pretty awesome actually, I nearly cried many times throughout the film and I always thought Angelina Jolie was nothing but a walking pout - she did spectacularly well in this film and I take back calling her 'fanny fish lips'. We also went to Freeport where I bought Ramones and The Clash CDs and Liz and Gareth bought me this AMAZING skirt. Oh God, yes, and how could I forget what I got for my birthday?! Plenty of money for starters, haha, but I also got my wonderful Ghost Of The Robot hat, my Buffy mouse and a completely unprecedented Spike mousemat - like, how awesome!! Um, and last night I also watched four Supernatural episodes, Jensen is fit, even my great-auntie thinks so.
Oh, God, and Kafie bought me 'Mamma Mia!' on DVD, I went totally insane and kept hugging her over and over. I've watched it twice already. And to top it all off, I may be going to see Peter Pan with her at the theatre. Damn, but you have to hear this. You probably know I love debates, so for a while I've been having political debates on Iconator over Pro-choice/pro-life issues. I'm strictly pro-choice, but I won't get into the reasons now... anyway, they do really get so over-excited, but the best bit recently is: they told me I couldn't spell, that 'foetus' had no 'o' in it, but it does in England, 'fetus' is the American spelling. I got so mad, I sent them a link to Wikipedia showing the real spelling and they said: "Wikipedia is not real research" - can you sink lower into idiocy? A**holes.
